The History Preservation Roundtable of Allegany County (HPRAC)was formed September 21, 2006 when Rose Feenaughty and Jean Milliman who work in B.R.A.G. in Bolivar, contacted people who were interested in local history and invited them to an informal meeting held in the BRAG Room at the Bolivar Library. HPRAC was formed to bring support and unity to the historians. We meet the 4th Thursday of each month at a different museum or historical room and every meeting is like going to a classroom. New ideas are continually tossed about the room and we all leave with our minds churning, anxious to put these new ideas into action in our own historical groups. Anyone who has an interest in Allegany County History is encouraged to attend these meetings.
